J.P. Morgan Asset Management has made every effort to ensure that dealing in JF/JPMorgan funds is as convenient
and flexible as possible. All you have to do is open a MasterAccount.
To open a MasterAccount simply submit a completed
MasterAccount Application Form via J.P. Morgan eTrading
together with the
required documents by post, or visit the conveniently located
J.P. Morgan Investment Centre in Central. You
can either download the application form from Forms & Literatures or
obtain a copy from the Investment Centre.
If you wish to invest in our Regular Investment Plan +, you can start your online monthly investment through
eScheduler and make your payment directly through HSBC or Hang Seng Bank's Autopay Service or PPS Websites. For more information, simply view the online demo.
Alternatively, you can also set up a Regular Investment Plan via the J.P. Morgan Investment Centre.

Conversion to the base currency of the fund will normally
take place at the prevailing rate on the first business day,
other than a Saturday or Sunday, after the dealing day.
- 9.00am to 6.00pm (HK time) Monday to Friday except when
banks in Hong Kong are closed and when a fund has a significant
holding in a market that is closed (e.g. for a local holiday).
You can also place your instruction online via J.P. Morgan eTrading
which operates 24 hours a day, the cut-off time is 6:00pm of the
relevant dealing day for funds which deal on a daily basis.
Orders received after the cut-off time will be processed on the next relevant dealing day.
- To subscribe to or switch/ redeem from funds which are
dealt on a monthly basis, you should make sure that your
subscription order with your proof of payment (cleared funds
required for JF absolute return funds), or instruction to
switch/redeem, will be received by us no later than 6.00pm (HK
time) on the relevant dealing day, which is usually the last
business day of each month.
- To redeem/ switch holdings from JF absolute return funds,
which are dealt monthly, orders must be received by us no later
than 6.00 pm (HK time) on the 7th calendar day of the redeeming
month.
If you wish to place your instruction in person at the J.P.
Morgan Investment Centre or by telephone, please take note of our
office hours.
The cut-off time for dealing through J.P. Morgan eTrading is
the same as in 4 above and therefore is also 6:00 pm (HK time) on
any dealing day of the fund(s) you wish to deal in. Orders received after the cut-off time
will be processed on the next relevant dealing day.
If you pay for your order(s) via HSBC or Hang Seng Bank Autopay service,
you should ensure that you have sufficient funds
in your Autopay bank account to settle the order(s)
before 3:00pm on the same business day and your order amount does
not exceed the debit limit amount of your bank account setting.
If you pay for your order(s) via any other banks, please settle
the order(s) before the bank cut-off time (please check with your
bank as this can vary) to avoid your order being
rejected.
- Provided all relevant documents/payments are received
before the dealing deadline, orders will generally be processed
at that dealing day's closing price and the price will normally
be published on the next dealing day. The only exceptions
are:
- JPM USD/GBP/EUR/JF Money Fund - HK$ and JF absolute return funds:
Orders will normally be processed on the dealing day on which we
have received your electronic payment (if orders are placed through
J.P. Morgan eTrading) or if payment is made by
cheque/telegraphic transfer, when we receive confirmation from
our bank that your payment has been cleared. The payment or the
confirmation must be received by us before the dealing cut off
time at 6:00 pm (HK time).
- Upon confirmation of the deal, a Contract Note confirming
the details will be sent to you.
IMPORTANT: For online banking payments, as the cut-off time
varies from bank to bank, please check the payment service
offered by your bank.
- Simply complete and sign a QuickForm and return it to us
with your cheque or proof of payment.
- Hong Kong clients can also buy additional units/shares
through J.P. Morgan eTrading, making payment directly
online.
- To place an order, all you will need are your MasterAccount
number and your PIN which will be provided to you once your
MasterAccount has been opened.
- Clients who settle payment via HSBC or Hang Seng Bank's Autopay service or PPS websites can also pre-set a
schedule for subsequent investments (one-off lump sum or regular) by
using eScheduler.
You can switch from one fund to another by:

- calling JPM Funds InvestorLine on (852) 2265 1133
- logging in to J.P. Morgan eTrading at www.jpmorganam.com.hk
- Unless otherwise specified, the switch will normally be completed on the same day, except where the switch
is out of JF China Pioneer A-Share or if the switch is made into JF Money Fund - HK$ or into funds which do not
deal on a daily basis e.g. JF absolute return funds.
- If the switch is made out of JF China Pioneer A-Share or if the switch is made into JF Money Fund - HK$ or into
JF absolute return funds, units/shares will not be purchased until we have received the sale proceeds from the fund to be sold,
normally within 5-14 business days or normally 7 business days after the month-end for JF China Pioneer A-Share.
- Cleared funds must be received for any switch to JPM USD, JPM EUR and JPM GBP and JF Money Fund - HK$ from
JF China New Generation, JF India, JF India Smaller Companies and JF Philippine funds which normally require 7 business days
to release proceeds, or from JF Asia New Frontiers and JF Vietnam Opportunities funds which normally require 14 business days
to release proceeds, or from JF China Pioneer A-Share which normally releases proceeds within 7 business days after the month-end.
- If the fund to be sold is not valued on the day we receive
instructions, the switch (sell and buy) will be carried out on
the next dealing day of the respective funds to be sold and
purchased.
- In the event that the fund to be purchased is not valued on
a particular day, the allotment deal will be effected on the next
dealing day of that fund.
- A discount on the offer price is normally given when
switching between equity and bond funds ie, a reduced initial
charge of 1% will be offered. However, as money/liquidity funds
deal at net asset value (NAV), no discount is given when
switching into these funds.
- If your initial investment was in a money/liquidity fund,
no discount will be given when switching between such funds or
when switching from them into an equity, absolute return or bond
fund. This is because they deal at NAV and no front end fee was
charged initially.
- If you have previously switched out of an equity, absolute
return or bond fund into a money/liquidity fund and subsequently
switch out of the same money/liquidity fund into another equity,
absolute return or bond fund, the discount will be applied.
- Yes. If you are making a partial switch or sale, the
minimum investment requirement as specified for that particular
fund/share class must remain in the fund/share class from which
you are switching. Otherwise, all your holdings in that
fund/share class will be automatically switched or sold.
- With the exception of JF absolute return funds, if you are
making a partial switch or sale through J.P. Morgan eTrading, the
residual balance in each fund must normally meet the HKD5,000
minimum for lump sum investment, or HKD1,000 minimum for
eScheduler's monthly investment, otherwise you have to switch out
or sell all of your holdings in that fund/share class.
- To switch holdings from JF absolute return funds, the
residual balance must normally meet the USD50,000 minimum
requirement, otherwise you have to switch out or sell all of your
holdings in that fund/notional class.
- This depends on which fund(s) you invest in. You should
note, however, that any income distribution of less than USD250
or its equivalent (subject to the FX obtained by J.P. Morgan Asset Management)
will be reinvested for additional units in the
same fund at NAV (or at the fully-discounted subscription price
where applicable) automatically. If you wish to receive the
income distribution of USD250 or above by cheque, you must inform
us in writing. Be aware, however, that all distribution cheques
are issued in the base currency of the fund.
Same as buying and switching, you can sell units/shares by:

- logging in to J.P. Morgan eTrading at www.jpmorganam.com.hk
- Redemption proceeds from the sale of units/shares can be
paid in most major currencies, by cheque or telegraphic transfer
(TT). Unless you have provided us with Standing Payment
Instructions, or you provide written and signed instructions with
your order, payment will be made by cheque, in the base currency
of the fund, made payable to the registered holder(s).
- To receive your proceeds by TT you must provide:
- name and address of your bank
- the name(s) in which the account is held
- the account currency
- the bank account number
- correspondent bank details (if applicable)
- To place your redemption order through J.P. Morgan eTrading,
you must provide us with your Standing Payment Instructions in
advance so that proceeds from the sale of units/shares can be
paid into your designated bank account in your specified
currency. J.P. Morgan eTrading cannot currently pay proceeds by
cheque.
IMPORTANT: Payment cannot be made to accounts in the
names of third parties.
- Proceeds from a sale will normally be released within 5-14 business days or
7 business days after the month-end for JF China Pioneer A-Share Fund.

- You can update your personal information including your
Standing Payment Instructions via J.P.Morgan eTrading or by

Commonly Asked Questions about eScheduler & Regular Investment Plan
- You can invest monthly through eScheduler via J.P. Morgan eTrading by using HSBC or Hang Seng Bank's
Autopay service or PPS website's monthly payment instruction. Alternatively, you can also set up a
Regular Investment Plan via the J.P. Morgan Investment Centre.
- For eScheduler monthly investment, your account will be debited on your selected Order Process Date of each month
(or the next business day if the Order Process Date is a bank holiday) and your investment will normally be invested on
the same day (or the next relevant dealing day, if the Order Process Date is not a dealing day).
- For Regular Investment Plan setup via J.P. Morgan Investment Centre, your account will be normally debited on the 4th business days prior to the 15th calendar day (or the next business day if it is a bank holiday) of each month, and will normally be invested on the 15th calendar day (or the next dealing day if it is a fund holiday).
- For eScheduler monthly investment, you can only use HSBC or Hang Seng Banks Autopay service or PPS website to settle the payment.
Your scheduled monthly instruction will be suspended if the payment is failed. You can reactivate the instruction online without
any charge.
- For Regular Investment Plan setup via J.P. Morgan Investment Centre, all monthly contributions must be made via direct debit
from your designated bank account. Your account will be debited again next month. Please note, however, the respective Regular
Investment Plan will become inactive if you have missed 2 monthly contributions within one calendar year.
An administration fee of HKD200 will be charged if you wish to reactivate the plan.
- For eScheduler monthly investment, you can amend the amount of your monthly scheduled orders in “Existing Schedule” via J.P. Morgan eTrading before the dealing cut-off time of the business day prior to the effective date without any charge.
- For Regular Investment Plan setup via J.P. Morgan Investment Centre, you can increase or decrease your monthly contribution (at a multiple of HKD100 per fund) by signing and completing a Regular Investment Plan Amendment Form or sending us your signed written instruction, provided that the contribution is no less than HKD1,000 per fund. You can also call us to place your instruction with your Personal Identification Number (PIN). If your instruction is received by the 26th of the month, the change can be effected in the following month.
- If your new contribution amount exceeds the maximum limit stated on your previous Direct Debit Authorisation, you must complete, sign and return a new ORIGINAL Direct Debit Authorisation Form. This type of change will take approximately two months to process.
Note: An administration fee of HKD200 will be charged
if you increase or decrease your Regular Investment Plan monthly
contribution more than twice within any one calendar
year.
- For eScheduler monthly investment, you can easily adjust the instructions online in “Existing Schedule” via J.P. Morgan eTrading at any time you wish without any charge.
- For Regular Investment Plan setup via J.P. Morgan Investment Centre, you can redirect your investment in a fund at any time you wish provided it has reached the minimum investment amount of USD2,000 (or USD5,000 for certain funds). You can advise us of your new instruction by signing and completing a Regular Investment Plan Amendment Form, or by sending us your signed written instruction. You can also call us to place your instruction with your Personal Identification Number (PIN). If your instruction is received by the 26th of the month, the change can be effected in the following month.
Note: An administration fee of HKD200 will be charged
